Not sure if Red was planning on a write up for this event but seeing as though my selections tee off in next couple of hours i thought i'd put my selections out there;

The morning starters are nearing the finish and i see Hunter Mahan has started very brightly, currently -7 thru 14

 

I missed this weeks tournament Smokin because of Ascot but after looking at the leaderboard this morning i will be cheering on DeLaet for you pal...

70/1 is a great shout for your money... Lets hope for you...

 

Bloom heck Smokin, DeLaet shoots -1 and misses out on a play-off by one shot...!!!

A case of if only... But you got decent e/w back for your efforts... Next time we hope pal, always next time...

 

It ended up a case of who made the least mistakes

Bubba's triple on the 16th did it for him, de laet missing a birdie putt of a few feet on the driveable par 4 15th, and then bogey'ing the 16th himself really made it difficult.

But fair play to the winner, the play off was a cracker!
