Matt Ingram transfer to Hull confirmed on a 3 year deal for an undisclosed fee, he'll be working with Barry Richardson again which must have helped him decide to join Hull. More money coming our way.
The board of directors of @wwtrust are in advanced discussions with American sports team owner Rob Couhig in relation to Mr Couhig becoming a shareholder of Wycombe Wanderers Football Club: https://t.co/XgqMlL03fY
The Trust have called a meeting for all members at Adams Park on Thursday 11th July. Full details will be sent directly to members via email in due course.
For some strange reason, I have a good feeling about this one. Had a very bad feeling about the last one
When the cloud of the other takeover hung over us we hardly won a game. Before that we went on a winning streak that saw us within reach of the play offs. When they buggered off, we immediately won and did enough to stay up. We would have gone down had they not gone away; no doubt in my mind. I think it created a lot of uncertainty where it mattered. This new could create some optimism where it matters. I would love to know what the feelings are within the team as that is what will make a lot of difference. Obviously I have concerns over the security of Adams Park, as before, and hope to see concrete evidence of the "intended deal" coming to fruition ie "It is intended that, at that point, neither the club nor its Adams Park stadium will hold any debt, nor will the assets be available to be used as security. " Nor at any point I would like to see
Wycombe are 6/1 for a top 6 finish. That is far too short. I'll be surprised if we can't get better odds than that at some stage
Watch Rob Couhig's opening address to @wwtrust members at last week's meeting: https://t.co/NOoGRt61Xf Sounds like a very genuine man
He certainly said all the right things and seems a decent fella but we all thought about the shark who left us £6 million in debt. I will keep an open mind and see how things progress on and off the pitch.
Seems a genuine bloke but he's American what do they know about little old wycombe. I'm intrigued as to why the 12 other clubs didn't think his project was right for them, I guess time will tell.
Is that what really happened Rocky? That's not how I understood it. I thought he implied that some weren't suitable. It would be interesting to know though if he had got to the stage of making this speech to any other clubs Also, on watching again, it seems a big chunk of the meeting has been cut out (ie what was said before the start of the video and what about the later questions he referred to?). So what have we missed out on by only seeing the edited video? Presumably there is a summary somewhere of the entire meeting?
