    Hello, team.

Trouble in paradise then??? Old boy Gosden and Dettori are both seemingly trudging around seething and snarling aplenty. Ryan Moore to Clarehaven?!? Just a thought. Thinking aloud and all that...

The elder of the duo seems most irked by Dettori's ride on Palace Pier and being, and I quote, 'over-ruled' by Shadwell re the running of Mostahdaf. Old boy Gosden wanted him in the £1.2M Champion Stakes rather than the £80k Darley Stakes. And in fairness to the latter he wasn't saying this after Mishriff got beat at the weekend but over a week before the Champion Stakes.

Incidentally, one further point re the duo, I must say that I thought Dylan Browne McMonagle was Class with a capital 'C' in the way he responded to Dettori's onslaught - "I just pulled my horse out for a run and I didn't have enough under me to go through with it. Look, that's race riding and that's how it goes." A clear case of the apprentice proving the master!

Good luck to anyone wagering today.
