After doing the unthinkable - winning back to back league games and making it through to the second round of the league cup, we travel to the Wall for our fourth game in 11 days. Three of which have been away now, brutal start! Millwall haven't started too strongly - without a win however always tough to beat on their home turf. I think this may be the game injuries catch up with us - though prove me wrong ITFC by all means what a start. Have a horrible feeling Morrison will be a handful. Think we'll swap back to 4-4-2, however CB is going to be the bigger issue for me even if Downes is out. As for guessing the 11, proving harder than previous years but I'll go.... Bart Spece / Iorfa / Chambers / Knudsen Sears / Nydam / Skuse / Celina McGoldrick / Garner Maybe Celina time if Ward isn't ready. Good to see Rowe back in the squad. Sadly go 2-1 loss but hopefully wrong. COYB.
I'd take that right now Weighty, would love the unbeaten run to continue and to set out a marker. Injuries are being a right pain at present however we're getting on fine irrespective for once!
Another win, make the most of it tho coz i think mid september onwards is gonna be much harder and i think we may struggle!
Agree Spanish after Brentford in particular on paper it looks damn hard. Be good to get some on the board now!
0 - 1 away win and sitting top of the league. Millwall tend to play 442 so expect us to match them or play a 451 as we were swamped in midfield on Saturday, but they are struggling to score and we are enjoying a rare vein of good form (and fortune) so would expect us to come away with something from the game.
I would happily take a draw right now! Millwall away under the lights doesn't fill me with much optimism.
It shouldn't be beyond us to get at least a point tonight providing we don't play with 3 at the back, we were lucky to only be one down at HT on Saturday and as Scowey rightly said we were swamped in mid field and the flanks were a Barnsley playground. All away games are tough so as always I would take a point right now.
The TWTD preview doesn't fill me with any confidence..... Playing 4-4-2 is fine, however four strikers including two out wide with Ward apparently onlongside Skuse - crikey that looks a Joe Royle side not a Mick side! Should be goals at least. They seem to think Spence will be CB not Lorfa - surely they'd be the other way around!? Spence + Chambers as a CB partnership - give me strength! Looks a tough day at the office this. Sure, Millwall are pretty poor and are likely to be bottom 8, however they've picked a great time to play us I think.
