Had my first ever hot towel shave yesterday at the local Turks, I felt a bit uncomfortable at first, what with a Turk standing behind me with an open razor at my neck but it turned out to be a wholly pleasurable experience. Never thought I'd enjoy a swarthy man rubbing his hands all over my face but you live and learn. Any of you latents a fan of the hot towel shave?
I would heartily recommend a proper hot towel and straight razor shave. Place I go to also does a neck/shoulder/arm massage thrown in with the hair cut and shave. Pricey at £45 but even an ugly mug like me likes to feel top dollar every now and then. Most of the time I go for the cheap and cheerful local barbers for a trim but once in a while a bit of pampering is worth it. Certainly on the poovey side though but as I am a confident heterosexual man it holds no fear for me.
In Doobye it's part and parcel of the haircutting experience to get a head and shoulder massage. The fact it's a smelly Jingly bastard matters not a jot to someone like me who embraces the cultural melting pot of this world.
The OP has opened up other questions - has anyone had a Turkish Bath? Never been to one myself and after seeing Midnight Express I don't think I'd ever be comfortable giving myself over to the hands of a hairy Turk.
No, never had a Turkish bath. Never had a Turkish shave. Never had a back, sack and crack. Never shaved my chest. Never been ****ed up the arse by another man or a woman with a strap-on (@monacoger ) Now **** off and take your latent homosexual **** elsewhere.
