The trialists in the U21's squad today and no Traore, so presumably he'll hake the first team squad shortly...
Unless he's injured again Seriously though he's had so little football in 12 months he'd only be on the bench for a 10 minute cameo at the end surely? And with some big games coming up it might be a bit of a waste. Mind, I was surprised to see Simons on the pitch on Saturday, so what do I know!
The three trialists were Nevin (not Pat), Furtado and Whittingham, though it's not clear who played where. EDIT: Seems Nevin is Harry Nevin of PNE's youth team, an Irish U19s RB. Whittington is Matthew Whittington, an 18 year old LB/LW/DM/CM who plays for Man City U18s (7 goals and 11 assists in 16 appearances - he won't be cheap, guessing that's some sort of future loan deal prep). Furtado is Duarte Furtado, a midfielder in FC Halfiax Town's youth set up. Guessing none of them really shone in that Crewe game, we got battered 3-1.
ANYONE ANY INSIGHT TO THE BEHIND CLOSED DOORS GAME THIS AFTERNOON.... who was it against, did Traore play etc etc!!!?
Hats off to Donald Trump's plastic surgeon. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Talking of which - is this the ultimate dangerfuck? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hampshire-64720003
Doubt it, all the latest reports suggest he's still some way off. Will have played in the behind closed doors game I'd think.
It was against Man City's development squad and we won 4-0. And Traore will allegedly be in Saturday's squad (edit: Apparently Rosie said he'd travel, not that he'd necessarily that he'd be in the squad).
