    Disappointing performance, tactics and subs.

It was like every Swiss player had an invisible 10 yard buffer around them - we just allowed them all the time in the world. At 1-0 down we still seemed to be playing for a draw !

I just hope we wake up for the Turkey match. We just can't allow any team that much time with the ball.
We are much better than that performance - we got extremely lucky with the result - I hope we don't waste it.

Mepham not good enough end of. If we didn't have Ben Cabango, fair enough, but not to include him in squad.

At times it was like watching the Swans under Cooper …..

Create very little and a manager (coach) who doesn’t really know how to change it

Very, very lucky. I can only reiterate what everyone has already said.

Their number seven was like a rock and was waltzing through our defence with ease. Nobody was closing down, they were crossing at will and at one nil down it looked at one point like we'd settled for a loss! Switzerland could have passed it to the keeper and he could have sat down with the ball and had a nap until the final whistle.

Page said he took Dan off because "he was out on his feet"- eh? What he means is "we'll hopefully hang on for a point and I'll keep Dan as fresh as possible for the must-win game against Turkey". At least be honest about it. Or he's clueless. Dan is our only star quality player in my view, Bale is past it.

It's going to practically be a home game for the gobblers and Wales will have to play 100% better. It was never going to be like 2016, that was a freak run of form and results. I did expect better today though. The keeper was brilliant but when he's the MOTM you know you're in trouble.

Am i missing something with Moore? "Everyone" was clamouring for him to be up front apparently, a no brainer it seems. Clumsy touch, no hold up (although balls hoofed up front were poor anyway), no link play. Page said that's the team he wanted to put out and it picks the formation for him - well we had no midfield presence in the game. The fact he scored is just glossing over a very poor performance from a disjointed formation. I'll readily admit I'm not very tactically proficient but some of these things puzzle me.

That was exactly what I was thinking first half. Pass in front of goal, get toward halfway and pass it back to the keeper who then hoofs it toward Moore and they're immediately back in possession.

Terrible scenes in the Denmark game, Christian Eriksen has collapsed - he’s had CPR.

    Some players are in tears.

    Prayers for Christian

I nodded off and wondered why Charlie Dimok was on, changed channel etc and no footy, then see this.

I hope he’s ok, prayers to him and his family.

It looked at the time that he had gone. Thank God he's ok.

    Finland 1 up
Denmark missed a penalty to equalise - justice, wasn’t a penalty in my view <cheers>

Agreed. Never thought that was a pen.

Surely the Denmark game should have been re-scheduled for another day. Bonkers to carry on.

I agree - apparently, the Danes wanted to play because Eriksen was ‘ok’.

    Bonkers <cheers>

Apparently Eriksen had a facetime call to the team and said he wanted the game to continue......
