Saw on the BBC Sport Website a few days ago UEFA's President wants to reform the transfer system to stop big clubs hoarding the best players. He claims excessive concentration of talent with a few teams had to change, and that a luxury tax on rich clubs & squad limits could help stop elite clubs dominating the game. Following the FFP regulations' success why not waste more time and money on introducing another rule for the richest clubs to ignore.
Can see his point. Juventus having more than fifty players out on loan is totally ludicrous. How many of those loanees will ever actually play for their parent club?
Much like Chelsea, I know a lot of them are youngsters, but it ain't good for the game. Look at some of the greedy whelps who have joined Citeh. Sinclair, Johnson and Rodwell, barely featured, stalled their careers and left many other clubs with a lesser talent pool. Money + Football = Ruin! Bah!
