Porto are currently being knocked out by Krasnodar. Basel have been eliminated by LASK and I don't even know who that is. Ajax sneaked past PAOK by winning 3-2 and Celtic need 2 goals in injury time or Cluj put them out.
Belated report, but Wolves won 2-3 away in their EL KO qualifier. That should be enough to see them into the EL group stages.
I'm wondering if we will make an impression in the CL this season or drop down to Poch's favourite tournament!
Good news everyone! We won't be playing Young Boys, as they got dumped out by Red Star Belgrade We'll also be avoiding a trek to Krasnodar, as they were soundly beaten by Olympiakos
I'd take that. Would probably go to one of them away, most likely Genk as I may have a chance of a ticket for that.
How long between the semis and the finals? Surely they've got time to put tickets in suitcases, hop on a plane and deliver them to the clubs involved. No excuse for screwing with the fans! I wonder how many disinterested fans turned up for the finals if the tickets were actually distributed?
The group stage draw is today. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49489084 Would be nice if 2016-17 was emulated, and we draw Zenit + play them away on match round 1.
If anyone wants to be bored ****less by some irrelevant crap surrounding the draw, then here's a stream for it:
