Hey BC.....you should have stayed in Kent.....just seen this in the paper.

GRIZZLY BEAR DRAGGED MUSICIAN TO HIS DEATH.

A musician was killed by a grizzly bear in a remote part of Canada last week while recording an artistic project.

Julien Gauther, 44, who was travelling along the Mackenzie River to record natural sounds, was set upon by the animal while he was sleeping.

The Royal Canadian mounted Police was alerted by a distress beacon set off by a biologist who was travelling with Mr Gauther. He said a grizzly bear had dragged his companion away in the middle of the night.

    Daily Telegraph / Wednesday / 21/08/2018..

Difficult using you bear spray BC... when your fast asleep......

As long as I only have to read about it and not be involved personally then that's ok with me. It is their domain after all.

BC....If you ever go to Italy...take your bear spray with you.

A bear is attacking livestock, raiding beehives and startling hikers in the Dolomite mountains of Italy... is wanted dead or alive.

The brown bear, known to scientists as M49 but nicknamed Papillon after a French memoir about a prison escape, climbed a 16ft high fence and fled an enclosure in a wildlife sanctuary in the province of Trentino last month. It has moved northwards, disembowelling a cow and encountering hikers.

The province of South Tyrol has issued an order which calls for the capture or, if necessary, the killing of the 140kg three year-old bear.

    Daily Telegraph...23/08/2019.

Blimey BC....only 140kg....that would be classed as just a cuddly pet out in your neck of the woods wouldn't it.....:emoticon-0141-whew:.....
