Under 23's v Sheffield Wednesday at the KC tomorrow. 12.00 ko.

    Bit more publicity would help.
Hearing the big Hungarian might be playing plus the young trialist from Ghana/Kenya ?
Huge following expected from the South Yorkshire massive.
Few more locals in the stands would be nice.

Losing 5-1 when I ****ed off. Kick off delayed whilst our goal keeper got himself ready and it went downhill from there. Sheff Massive passed through us for the first goal, then the next two were yards offside. Jon Biell having a right go at the linesman with no effect. The third goal led to the sending off our keeper, which didn't help matters. The new keeper actually dived before the penalty taker had kicked the ball. I could have scored the ****er. At 2-0, or could have been 3-0, their keeper missed kicked in his 6 yard box and Lewis Kean Potter pulled one back. We never came close again.
So down to 10 men, 3-1 down and the second half was a bit of an anti climax but to be fair we made a fist of it for 20 mins or so until the fourth went in, then another. It could have been eight by full time for all I know.
Positives ? Spoke to one bloke at half time who's son was on the bench for us, aged 16, Carew someone ? He actually got on with 20 mins to go for Lewis Keane Potter which was nice for him and his old man. Good luck to the lad, I hope he makes it.
    Attendance ? piss poor, maybe 100?120 ?
    Finished off in Pave.
    So all wasn't lost.

If I was John Fieldhouse reincarnated I'd have gone today wearing a rugby shirt and yawned all the way through it whilst munching on at least one pie. Then I'd have got the opposition wrong and probably called them Salford Red Socks.

Would have been a ****er to get to in car today with all the er...travelling community upping sticks and doing one. Traffic overload on Anlaby Road this morning as they all queued up to get on Rawling Way.

I doubt if they opened the anti terrorism gate either to facilitate folk coming from town.
