The players are worse, but the sides are better at playing football. This nufc squad is wasted.. Should be playing better football not just replying on having better individuals
Reading some of the comments on bbc. Jesus wept. Bruce you ****ing ****er. T Comment posted by Taxi for Ozil, today at 16:03Taxi for Ozil 16:03 My goodness, Newcastle are a poor side! We went to St. James’s Park in poor form, low in confidence & with both eyes on Thursday night. We were there for the taking but Newcastle didn’t even lay a glove on us! Easiest game of the season for us! They didn’t even seem to try. We have massive problems of our own but nothing like Newcastle’s!
**** off Bruce you had them down for a win on your betting slip bigging up the oppo again before a ball is kicked - fat twat --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 'Arsenal were the better side' FT: Newcastle 0-2 Arsenal please log in to view this image Newcastle United Newcastle manager Steve Bruce speaking to BBC: "We're disappointed because we haven't got near the performances of late. Arsenal played well. It's a poor goal after four minutes. When you're chasing against these lads it's always going to be difficult. Arsenal were the better side today it was as simple as that. "We are delighted to see we are a bigger threat. Allan Saint-Maximin in the last few weeks has produced all sorts of magic but it wasn't quite there today. We've never thought [we're safe]. We have four games left and we still have a lot to play for. We didn't play well enough today against a decent Arsenal team. We have to regroup, go again and get ready for next week. "It was simply that service to [the attackers]. I think Allan probably played too deep. He was a little frustrated and got too deep."
"I think Allan probably played too deep" well if you didn't see it you want ****ing shooting you daft bastard
" We didn't play well enough today against a decent Arsenal team" ffs even their own fans said this was a scratch team and we resorted to defending a nil -nil
We'll never be better under Bruce and we're going backwards aren't we... Ashley's backed him her we're much worse than the side he inherited
thank god Fulham will fail to win their next 3 then. It’s come to something when we can only hope for them to drop points.
I was coaching this morning u9s and even at that level understand that games are won and lost in the midfield. The theory of having Shelvey there to ping the odd decent pass over the top is alarmingly thick - that isn’t the priority. The priority in the middle is winning the ball, controlling it and having the energy to keep working so the defence can transition. Shelvey does none of these things. Arteta may be struggling but he knew what we’d be trying and gave us no option for 1D Shelvey. At that point he’s rendered useless and is effectively a fourth CB, but a passive one. Then you have Longstaff and Almiron on the wrong sides, both of whom were dreadful because arguably neither is a PL CM. When Schar came on it was typical Bruce, nobody had a ****ing clue where they were supposed to be playing and it got farcical. The gap between what became effectively a back 7 and the front 2 was embarrassing. It’s the basics that Bruce doesn’t even understand.

Interesting that if you want to manipulate it you can. This is slightly after the ball was kicked. If your VAR you could roll it back slowly until you want the lines in line. But if you want the offside decision you find that sweet grey spot. And the fact it wasn’t shown on the tv!
Makes no odds. We won’t ever get a decision for us now because of arbitration. However it’s ok to kick longstaff in the head.
