Happy with the win especially against a strong RS side. We made things harder for ourselves but the boost to morale would have been beneficial. First time we’ve come back at home.

 

If we don't stop ****ing about and playing out from the back I'll go ****ing mad. Why, why, why - we can't do it against the top teams, so why invite the press. I'm fine with the lower league sides, City, Spurs and the like, but top teams will hurt us.

 

Would've been gutted if we lost that, we deserved the win.

I'm very much looking forward to this Diallo lad. Hearing good things about him in training, let's hope he lives up to the rep.

Shaw was tremendous.

 

The team is gradually becoming more competitive and more confident against the better teams. Perhaps some may not have been aware of this fact: the last bastion has fallen to OGS. The RS was the only team that he has not beaten at least once since his appointment...until today. He has now beaten every big team at least once.

Today he rested/benched Fernandes and DeGea against a strong motivated team. Also also possibly Martial and Fred from his strongest 11. The team was competitive for most of the match. I think he could easily put out the same team against West Ham. Let’s move on now to our next league match. We need to get that win if we want to keep the challenge going.
