It’s a game we simply have to win. We need some character and some balls to impose our play.

Have we stopped the rot of being dominated in our home ground? Have we got rid of our recent dreadful attitude ? Are our key players going to stand up and be counted instead of hiding?

That could well have been a Freudian slip from you, my friend. We could be exiting the CL places tomorrow. Give Arsenal an 8 point advantage and the door closes :(

I can’t believe that we have only won five games out of 13 while losing five. Just incredible! We really need to go on a run to erase the madness of the past two months. It is still horrible to bare!

We must win tomorrow at all fkin costs!!

Agree we need to win. I also think we are more than capable of winning.

Don't get me wrong we're playing **** atm and our recent record in the league against Arsenal isn't great but our squad is better and it's the kind of game where both sides will have opportunities to attack and score.

I'd love a good game, with us playing attacking football... but tbh I'd be happy with edging a 1-0 for this game.

Yup! I’m not even thinking about the style of football right now. So yeah, we just need to find those three points tomorrow however way possible. We are playing at home for goodness sake! Hard to fathom how bad things have got that we can’t even call home games with the squad that we have.

Rangnick apparently hasn't got his automatic work permit because of rules changes post-brexit means he doesn't qualify as he hasn't been coaching continually for at least 24 months in the past 5 years. It's going to be sanctioned by the FA so it's likely he'll be in charge for the Crystal Palace match. Although knowing our luck...

The way other teams come to OT and give us a game is simply unacceptable. Somehow this team seems to have regressed so much that you wonder about the depth that it had sunk and can still sink to. Fernandes has completely lost form. AWB is playing without any confidence whatsoever and our right side has become a real weak link. DeGea, McTominay and Sancho are keeping up otherwise we could be deeper in the ****ing ****.

Maguire as captain seems to always have an error in him and cannot be trusted. On form, only Newcastle and Norwich are playing worse and that’s saying something.

I am hoping for a win at OT but I wouldn’t put any ****ing money on it.

Is it even worth posting a 'my team would be'?

Could be literally anything, **** knows what Carrick will do and Rangnick won't have had any input.

Anyway, **** it, I'm doing it anyway.

I'd have a midfield three of Fred, DVDB and Fernandes and a front three of Rashford, Ronaldo and Sancho.

    It won't be that though.

You missed out McTominay! You can’t have Fred without Mc! lol

I would play Donny in place of Bruno. Bruno has been so poor lately.

That midfield 3 and front 3 is a no brainer. I'd probably go with McTominay instead of Fred but he aint been so bad recently...as long as we're not expecting him to lob the keeper from 10 yards out.

Saka, Lacazette and Smith-Rowe the danger men from them. We need our defence to be tight.

Maguire back, I assume he comes straight back in?

Him and Bailly would be my choice.

Funny thing is Maguire is the banker to start, and the toss up is between Bailly and Lindelof. Really shouldn't be that way around.

    Varane needs to hurry back.

Injury update suggests it'll be another couple of weeks still.

Shaw still a doubt for today as well.
