Not sure I agree really, we'll be at home on Sunday and this side put out was almost a mish mash of players available, and those not needing to be rested.

I think Maguire was solid, but Varane probably comes back.
Shaw definitely comes back.
Antony no longer 'ill' at the weekend, but even then Sancho got a run.


Casemiro had to play as he's can't for the next couple of weeks, Sabitzer got a run.

Weghorst playing whole game effectively gives someone else a rest, somewhere.
Some positive spin in that, right?

Bit surprised McTominay and Martial got no run out but there's an international rest after Sunday so they are probably match day squad for the FA Cup.

I see it as decent squad management. There will come a time in the run in when everyone is available that the 1st eleven needs to be properly settled.

 

Sevilla in the Europa QF draw. Currently 13th, they have been off the pace this season , but are the Europa specialists

 

They did ok against Fenerbache but wasn't like they smashed them.

I think it's about how ready and fit our squad will be.

If we have the squad right, we'll be too much for them.
