We need to win this to keep us on track for a Top 4 finish. Arsenal dropped points but Spurs and West Ham both won.

Can see this being a difficult game for us as Wolves have been brilliant defensively. They're solid and compact and aren't conceding goals. We aren't exactly great at creating loads either, so this could set up to be a damp squib.

Bruno to come straight back in???

If we win all our games in hand we're 3 points behind Chelsea, so never mind just top four.

Yes, a definite must win, as they all are now.

I wouldn't bring Bruno straight back, no. Leave him as sub.

    Didn't realise that about Chelsea.

Spurs if they win all their games in hand are 2 points ahead of us.

So that's 3 in the mix there. It's a fair point, we really should be aiming higher.

Yes. Bench him. As his fall from being the most impactful player in the Premiership to very average midfielder has been spectacular. He really needs to rediscover his mojo. At,best he contributes little at worst he's a liability as he gives away the ball in very dangerous areas.

Today should be fun, a very rusty Varane and an even rustier Jones as CB pairing with no bench back up <doh>

Got McTom and Matic in front so that should provide the requisite 'protection'.

Where are Maguire and Bailly then?

Bailly is probably injured since he played the other day, not sure about Maguire, COVID?

We could at least put Menghi on the bench as cover since both today's CBs seem injury prone.

Am I right in saying there's no CB on the bench?

If so I take it Matic drops to CB if there's an injury or we go to a back 3 and bring on another full-back?

Yep, Telles and Dalot are there but no CB.
Matic dropping back would probably be the best bet, we have at least some cover for holding mid in Fred and DVDB.

Could actually see McT dropping back there if needed and doing a good job.

Well from what I can see we play it forward more than before...

but it's still far too slow and cumbersome and allows the opposition to organise and close down our moves. Disappointing so far.
