Match Day Thread Unofficial match thread for Norwich (ko Sat 20th 3pm)

Right, **** this. Bored now. We need a match thread - here it is.

 

My unofficial prediction is that we will score several more goals than Norwich, but the result will be chalked off as it hadn't been officially preceded by several days of cheese puns, dodgy team selections and discussions about the best way to get to Carrow Road. Personally, I'd go to Liverpool Street, take the train to Cambridge, then change for Norwich, but I've got a Senior Rail Card. It's my son's

With all these jinxes and counter jinxes, there is a lot riding on the dishwasher tomorrow.

And in fairness, it does say 'unofficial' in the title - so the forces know we are only messing

 

Smart move by Tom, making this unofficial. I don't know if it'll be enough to stave away the dark forces brought upon us by Darth Vin, but it's worth a go.

Will Dean Smith cut the mustard at Norwich ?
Given his exertions on Monday, maybe Che will be on the bench, and Broja will start. I think Lyanco might start rather than Bedders.
Billy Gilmour was superb on Monday too, but he was subbed with cramp after 75 mins, so he maybe hasn`t the legs for a full game yet, assuming he starts.
0-2 Saints.

 

Heading to this one (complete with an hour rail replacement bus from Ipswich to Norwich ) so here's hoping it's not a complete disappointment!!

Strangely confident about this game, a worrying feeling for any Saints fan .... 0-3 to the mighty Saints

 

Should win this one really but you never know with a new manager in charge.

I'm guessing his first job will be to tighten the defense up so will likely approach this first game very cautiously.

I'll go 1-0 Saints win

 

I think that we have goals in the team now to go with the better organised defence, Che and AA to score in a comfortable 2-0 win.

 

I think puns shouldn't be restricted to cheese that would cut the mustard.
