My son loved it at that xx age. Premier league. Watching stars. Gave up how season ticket 3 years ago as he was sick of it!! I still suffer it. But I am a “happy clapper” as they say!! 81 was my first game!! I was 6
You've had to put up with a bit more disappointment than myself then! My 1st game was actually the old 3rd division, 8yr old. Hooked ever since, God knows why?! Now at 40yr old, this is by far the worst time for myself following the lads. We just need something to lift everyone, new manager, Americans with full take over, anyhting positive! Everyone is far too low at the minute. Something good is surely around the corner.
Aye, didn't expect any leaks or owt, the only disappointment for me (along with Parkinson still being manager when it finished) is that I was hoping one of the Americans might join the board and it might have been announced following it, there's plenty of spaces and would have been a big sign that they are here for the long term
Apparently he is up here, but only because he always comes up around this time of year to meet friends. Doubt he'd ever get involved again tbh, probably thought he'd done mint getting Short to invest and then he's had to watch it all go to ****, doubt he'd have the appetite to go again
We can have as many board meetings as you like. With donald residing in a panic room inside his bunker listening to nothing or no one other than the voices in his head we are heading to hell in a handcart. He cant admit to making so many monumental feck ups ( financial and football ) and has neither the intestinal fortitude or money to fix them. We all fell for his smoke and mirrors charm offensive when he came in.
cant see why he doesn't bring SKP in and put PP as his assistant, with a bit of luck PP would FO in disgust
