Soz Mr. President
If I was that guy on the other side of that door and saw someone smash through the glass, then start to climb through it, wearing a back pack I'd shoot to kill too.
Saying that no back packs were detonated, after the event is ridiculous. How's he supposed to know, that later on, no one had a bomb in their back pack?
So you think he should have risked his life, and just let her carry on through and possibly detonate a deadly bomb, right next to him?
Would you in his position, not from the comfort of your Windsor riser/recliner, have done that?
Isn't that exactly what you're doing?
when is a gathering a riot and in particular the severity of the offence when it is against public authority - may not be fully up to date as trump increased sentencing to 10 years for riot.
I think people dying would indicate violence?
You’re racist if you suggest Diego wouldn’t be windmilling equally hard in defence of BLM if they broke into the actual ****ing Capitol.
That’s me done for today
when the woman is shot, there is a guy at the side of her in black gear and body armour with a ****ing assault rifle.
As you actually have done, so I’m not implying anything,I’m openly calling it.
As you’ve tried to portray the woman shot as being a victim, and even used the word execution on a number of occasions. You’ve tried repeatedly to downplay what was an act of violent sedition as harmless protestors sight seeing, whilst ignoring the fact a copper got beaten to death with a fire extinguisher ffs. You’ve patently not bothered watching the video provided that dispels both notions with actual footage of the violence.
Yet still you plough on regardless, why? Well given you called my simple alternative scenario as ‘racist’ and ‘playing the race card’ gives us a clue, as does your playing down of this disgusting event. As it’s nothing more than the colour of your chosen scarf, they’re ‘your side’ in your dim, bigoted old bonce, so you’ve gone full on Comical Ali. You’re usually more subtle in your obvious defence of anything right wing, but you’ve gone full bore on this one.
Bore being the mot juste, in his case.
Regardless of barriers outside, they warned in that corridor to go back, they were pushing against officers to get to the room, and she was clambering through a broken window after being warned to go back. No matter how many cops were in on it (and it does appear several were) she knew she wasn't supposed to go through that window and had been warned not to.
Authorised use of lethal force.
Absolutely mate. I've stated throughout, the bullet she took was due to her own actions. I call them complacent actions on her part, Diego didn't get what I meant by that. It's when on the outside a person can see the likely outcome, while the person on the inside can also see them, but has become complacent and chooses to ignore them. It's a bit like covid, we all know it can kill you, but people think it won't kill them, complacency itself becomes the killer. I'm British, not used to guns, so wouldn't argue with a man holding one, or do any action that would give him reason to shoot me, she's American, and broke all the rules of action, I would have adhered to. She's also a veteran, so should have been use to knowing the consequences of messing with someone holding a weapon over you.
Pence and Pompeo are effectively in charge, it would appear. Biden wants nothing to do with impeachment, as it will tie up the first few months of his administration when he wants to hit the ground running with stimuli for the economy and pandemic logistics. That wouldn't be the focus if he and his team had not been told that Trump is now impotent. The pardoning issue notwithstanding though.
Look, Trump has spent nearly two months trying to instigate a military coup (this will all come out). When it does, he'll be forced to accept censure and forbidden to ever run for public office as a plea bargain (his self-pardoning malarkey won't stick - even though he has 7-2 in the SC - 3 his own picks - it's self-contradicting). Nothing will save him from the wrath of NY Southern District though - and he can't pardon himself from state law. And the DOJ will rightly be free and independent from presidential interference from the 20th. Watch out.
Is that why my sock doesn't work?
Very sad that girl got shot. Only 35 as well.
I see that the family of another woman who died (possibly trampled) had no hesitation in blaming Trump, for encouraging her to disregard her family’s advice not to go near the demonstration or the building.
The family of the bloke who tazered himself in the bollocks seem to think he was some sort of hero, which is sad. He’s the guy whose Facebook is full of pictures of him toting automatic rifles, daring mofos to come and get it.
God bless America
Risked the lives of the politicians and staff he was detailed to defend too. He was the last line of defence - he did his job. The only question to be asked is why other security personnel let them get that far before lethal force was used.
I think they will defo plough on with the impeachment mate, they’re sort of obliged to, as accountability is key.
They won’t rush it though and it’ll likely drag on months after he’s left office, but it could well suit both parties, as the GOP won’t want him standing again, and so the Senate could well reach 2/3rds majority this time (it’d need 17 GOP senators out of 50) that’ll both set the record straight and bar him from holding any federal office.
Then he can spend his time and the remainder of his grifted cash, trying to fight off the numerous criminal charges that’ll come his way, his tax evasion case, and the inevitable libel suits from Dominion and likely numerous state officials.
Pass me the popcorn.
As I say, Biden wants it like a hole in the head, and that tells me he knows Trump is no immediate danger, and the future will take care of him anyway. But I don't go along with McConnel's airy-fairy 'heal the nation' ****e: he needs to face retribution, for sure. Just not now, and not on the basis that he has power and will do something loony. Let the ****er stew in his last 10 days, then spend the next years in and out of perpetual court. He'll end up exiled in Israel or the Middle east, if not Russia, imo.
