I know everyone is waiting for my next masterpiece. Will I beat the record number of undefeated MD threads? Who knows but just marvel at the detail and flair which results in a MD thread that only Chippy will beel at. Premier League:Arsenal (a) please log in to view this image Following the international break, Newcastle return to Premier League action this coming Monday against the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium. Since Andy Carroll's headed winner there in November 2010, the Magpies have made six visits to N7 - and lost every single one of them. It's an 8pm kick-off, live on Sky Sports. NUFC: Sean Longstaff is a long-term absentee, while Fabian Schar completes his two match ban. Jamaal Lascelles has now returned to training. AFC: Granit Xhaka and Aaron Ramsey are both doubtful. Unai Emery's side are in formidable home form, taking 39 points from a possible 48 so far this season. Their only blemishes were an opening weekend 0-2 loss to Manchester City and 1-1 draws against Liverpool and Wolves. Good to see you havent resorted to copying again. A quick question though - “you” state that Arsenal are in formidable form at home having taken 39 points from 48 with the only blemishes a loss to Man City and draws with Wolves and Liverpool. However that means they should have taken 41 points out of 48 so can you explain the missing two points? Also - can you confirm that the train is not stopping in Northallerton?
Playing an ineligible player, obviously. I didn’t know Northallerton was on the London to Manchester route.
All lawyers are slippery ****s mate. You can’t ask them the time of day on the phone without hearing the click as they start the charging clock.
Surely today's Brexit developments will have a bearing on the validity of this thread. I'm going for a 4-1 Toon win which will be reduced to 3-1 due to the lack of a legally binding goal agreement with the ref.
please log in to view this image Ah the pitfalls of "copying" someone else's work.....you're just copying their **** ups, having an exam hall flashback now! I'm going for a 2-2 draw for this one which i will be more than happy with, anything else is a bonus. Miggy to open his account for us with a 50 yard screamer and our 2nd will be a bizarre effort from Muto, whom whilst warming up on the touchline (in the 92nd minute) assumes the "downward facing dog" position, his arse encroaching over the touchline connecting with a wayward goalkick from Dubravka looping the ball over the Gooners keeper into the net for our leveller. Gotta take advantage of these little pearlers whilst VAR isn't about. HWTL
Whilst I played against Paul Cannell many times at youth level and he never got a kick, I'm backing him to score tomorrow against lesser central defenders than me. Rondon is certainly on form, however he's been away on International duty so I'd give him a rest. I'm confident of a 3-1 with Hope, Cannell and Gordon Hodgson scoring the goals. I've got a sneaky feeling for a Martin Burleigh own goal for Arsenal.
Hop House 13 matey, only played 9 today...does that mean the clubhouse is the 10th then or is it still the 19th
I reckon the lads will be well-rested from their warm-weather training break that Mike funded to Whitley Bay and we will sneak a 2-1 win in this one.
Indeed I'm told they had some stiff opposition for the training matches with Whitley Bay and Alnwick supplying U12 teams. After a heavy defeat to Whitley Bay 3-0, Newcastle improved against Alnwick. Rondon drew Newcastle level on 32mins with a towering header against the 4ft 9in Alnwick centre back. They were in the ascendancy when the game had to be cut short due to a guy acting suspiciously in the dunes. The police have released a photofit. please log in to view this image
