It’s how the referees are using it that is ****e, as the referees are mostly ****e, which is why it was brought in. Vicious circle innit.

 

I'd rather they focus on improving refereeing standards tbh. Simply too many variables for VAR why it won't work and football doesn't have enough natural breaks or black/white decisions like other sports that use it.

 

Nah, it’ll just take some time for the game and the officials to adapt to it and use it appropriately imo.

It's absolute dogshit.

Ref in the Argie vs Iceland game wasn't having any of it, and quite right too, even if a couple of his decisions were arguable.

Meanwhile in the France game, the pen for the tackle on Griezman, dismissed by the ref then given by Var - utter bollocks.

 

What we need is less VAR's and more Vuvuzela's.

 

And half and half scarves.

 

The scousers will be hoovering them up in Russia, don't worry.
