No, not Blissett for me, very one dimensional. Jervis is the same height as Blisset (6ft 4) and brings so much more to the party, including League experience, pace, control and goal scoring - 25 in 88 appearances for us. Unavailable, OK, but still a better player even through the middle.

I thought about listing those in the starting 11 who DIDN'T let themselves down yesterday, It's quite short: Sawyer, Sarcevic, and Fletcher. Sawyer won't go on forever but he's always one of the better performers. Our problem is on our right flank, naming no names.

But PS, Blissett rather than Ciftci.... and that's quite a statement!

I've always thought that Jervis played better coming in from wide....there was a time when McCormick's goal kicks found Jervis's head and he directed the ball quite well into the penalty area.

Your list of the worthy is longer than mine notdistant. Think you are being a bit generous giving any of them credit.

My definition was "didn't let themselves down".... not exactly high praise.
