Not much to say about this one really. Plym has totally depressed me with his downbeat assessment of our squad that I might not be able to even get out of bed tomorrow. COYG
Pathetic comment sensible. Ryan Lowe confirmed that James Wilson will not be available because of concussion protocol....to soon after Tuesday to play.....some talk of six days being the minium rest required. But Lowe is suggesting that Conor Grant could be available after he was taken off with signs of a hamstring tightening......surprised if he plays so soon after that concern.....if he does play I hope that his hamstring has fully recovered.....we have already had too many injuries before the Lincoln game.....are squad although stronger than last year is feeling the strain at present. Brendan Galloway is playing more than Ryan Lowe intended.....having to cover for Wilsons suspension and now for his concussion.....plus the James Bolton pre-season injury. Let us hope that his level of fitness will see him through until the defence is up to full strength. Niall Ennis cannot be far away from retrurning....of course it will take him awhile to get up to match speed.
Ryan Broom has said that he is keen to start adding goals to his three assists that he so far has....he's had ten starts and one sub for Argyle so far this season.
Cooper, Garrick, Galloway, Scarr, Gillesphey, Edwards, Broom, Houghton, Camara, Jephcott, Hardie. Subs Burton, Agard, Randell, Law, Tomlinson, Shirley, Jenkins-Davies. Wilson not available today and Grant not risked.....the bench looks stretched today....We have only just turned 16yr old Jenkins-Davies a mid-fielder on the bench today one of three youngsters called into the squad....will Randell and Law get some serious playing time today ? George Cooper and Danny Mayor have travelled so it seems... but not risked.
Hardie does it again. Turns away from his defender from a throw, gets into the box and with nobody in support, belts it pass the keeper. 0-1.
Didn't last long! 1-1, Jordan Houghton slips on a sodden pitch and Lincoln score with their 1st shot on goal.
Well we've done all we can to help I can only think Sunderland have fielded their under 10's girls blind XI because we wouldn't be so far ahead of any-one else at the moment.
Damn it. Late penalty denies us the 2 extra points which we probably deserved overall. Got quite tasty at the end: 4 of theirs booked and 2 of ours. Still, up to third, subject to Wycombe's game in hand! Burton won't be easy but we have nothing to fear at the moment.
