Just for notdistant................what could possibly go wrong this time? Well the answer to that one is a simple one. Absolutely nothing on paper so that's enough said then. If only life and football were that simple. On the form book Argyle are way above Northampton but, having lost the previous 4 games at least they won the last one albeit against Bury I think. Northampton have already played 43 games before Saturday and are 4 points adrift of the safety line. If they lose this one they could be down if other results go against them. They are going to fight like f*** to win this one or at least they should do. I get more nervous when Argyle play teams at the bottom than I do teams above halfway. Everyone and their dog is going to be saying we should win this one. Indeed it is one of those that we sort of must win if we are serious about the play off places. Whenever we have a must win then somehow Argyle have managed to balls it up in history. We can win this and I'm going to stick my neck out and say we will give them a thrashing with or without Taylor. COYG
Looking forward to this one. Going as a guest of the Senior Greens and have been told to expect the biggest breakfast ever -probably why we are leaving at 0700! Think it will be trickier than some think but a cheeky 0-1 will be just fine .
Makasi and out for rest of the season it seems. Picture of him circulating apparently after knee op. That's what could go wrong..... Sent from my mobile phone - E&OE
PS The pic is on his own Twitter account, lying in hospital bed with a brace on his right knee Sent from my mobile phone - E&OE
In training this week, not sure if its full training or just fitness stuff. I doubt he's fit to play. Sent from my mobile phone - E&OE
Normal service is not available so let's go for broke. Church is also out for the season BTW Matthews Vyner Bradley Sawyer Ainsworth Carey Fox Taylor-Sinclair Fletcher Grant Sent from my mobile phone - E&OE
We are quite limited when first teamers are out.....that was so obvious in the first half of the season. Gambolling on the likes of injured Church fitted our budget.....the likes of Jervis are being missed...not ever injury prone at Argyle. Sent from my bog-standard Acer table top PC....with wireless mouse.
I can see the difference plymborn. notdistant's typing and font is clearly much superior to your cheap machine. I just hope our season doesn't just peter out with a whimper because we only signed cheap instead of what was needed. I still think the players we have available are good enough to turn up the required number of points. We never do anything the easy way though do we. I do find the Makasi one strange though because there wasn't even a hint of a problem and suddenly he is sending pictures of himself in a hospital bed having had an operation. That surely had to be planned in advance. Anyway, onwards and upwards as they say. We can still do it.
Jon-Joe O'Toole yet again. Seem to remember this bloke always scores against us as is a bit like his surname.
A very poor first half apparently. Sarcevic on for Paton in 53rd minute. Let's hope Sarcevic doesn't go overboard and injure himself again. He's that sort of character. Great when he's fit but is he ready for this?
So we have a rash of injuries and now our defenders are shanking in own goals. Where have we heard that before? Matthews playing a blinder apparently otherwise it would be worse.
Todays result makes dour reading.....which team was fighting relegation....from what I've read it could of been Argyle....completely toothless without Taylor up front.....Carey and Lameiras both missed Taylor's ability to hold the ball for them to run on to.....a gap of 3pts above us and we can't afford to lose again.
