Not sure what to make of this one. The form book says that our last 4 matches each cancel each other out. 2 lost, 1 drawn and one won. Not very inspiring. I always look upon Rochdale as a bit of a strange side who can be difficult to beat and yet are never very comfortable even at home. Keith Hill being one of our old timers as well is their manager. I always liked him as a player. Seems a lifetime ago now though.

So, what to expect this weekend apart from a snow storm half predicted by Lyndie on the prediction thread. This can go any way at all and won't throw up a shock particularly. Our away form is dreadful which is one complete downer. Time for an away win then on the laws of averages front. We can win so lets look on the bright side for a change. If it goes tits up then it might be the last time I do.

They had a game postponed last week because of a waterlogged pitch....we're told the forecast for Saturday is light rain in the morning and heavier rain/sleet possibly in the afternoon...with the temperature around freezing.

Not an easy pushover indeed but a favorable 3pts. for the football pools but really not needed!

Change of lineup: Joel Grant and Jephcott both start, presumably either side of Ladapo.

Fox, Carey and Sarcevic in midfield?

    Lameiras not in the squad.

Sawyer and Songo'o in the CB positions.

Just been reading that on pasoti. Surprise ref Jephcott being included and Lameiras not even being in the squad. Have to say I am surprised as well. Now the rumour mill is about Lameiras being off in January and the argument even before anything is actually known about Adams being an idiot if he lets him go. Apparently the weather in rochdale is horrible but they had the covers on and the pitch is playable.....................up to now. Think the weather might be the winner today regarding the standard of the football on offer.

Similar on Twitter regarding Lameiras despite no information as to whether he's injured.

Apparently it will be the end of the world if Lameiras is on his way out. Personally, I'd be happy if we brought in a decent attacker with a bit more directness, pace and physicality. Bet he's great at keepie-uppie but not my kind of player if I'm truthful.

Good start for PAFC: Sawyer, Carey and Jephcott with early chances.

According to the beeb stats Jephcott has had 2 attempts in the first 5 minutes. One blocked and the other too high. He better pack that up or there will be trouble from Adams. We don't to gung-ho attacking.

Christ what's going on today? Bristol Rovers one nil up at Sunderland. Shrewsbury one nil up in their match. Is the secret get rid of the manager?

Surprisingly, the ref doesn't seem to be giving Argyle much. Wotton spoken to after a couple of dubious decisions, followed up by a soft handball decision from which Macey catches well

Argyle falling back a little after a strong start, drawing a volley of "encouragement" from the PAFC dugout.

Clearly a small crowd at Rochdale. Firstly, almost no online Argyle fan comment from the stadium, possibly many thought the game could be called off.

Secondly, the Argyle bench can be heard on the radio commentary!

Jephcott praised for attacking and defensive effort. It's that second bit you don't get with Lameiras.

Half time 0 - 0. Brentford , Bristol Rovers now drawing at the death of first half and Wimbledon also down to 10 men now with Ref evening things up. Not the worst first half I guess.

0-0 at half time. Ref finishes the half by giving Rochdale an unwarranted corner. He sounds the most likely to ruin this for Argyle.

Guess what. Argyle start the second half poorly.
