It's that time of week again for an in depth look at the next opposition to present itself at Home Park. Well have a small look anyway. This time it's Rochdale who are in the frame. Form wise they have not done very well over the last five games having lost 3 of them and drawn and won one of each. We on the other hand have won 3, drawn one and lost one. So, on paper we should at least start as favourites for it.

Keith Hill is the Manager and he is an ex one of our's. Always liked him but on this occasion will not be wishing him well. We can and should win this game but Argyle seldom do what they are supposed to do. Where you think they have no chance they somehow sneak something and games where we are odds on to win we somehow flop. We never do anything the easy way. I find Rochdale one of those clubs who also win games they aren't supposed to and you never quite know which team will turn up on the day. Bit like us then. I think we will win this but I am not thinking it will be anywhere an easy game. Just stick to what we have been doing of late and that will be fine. It is an obvious chance for us to cement our improvement and points tally. I genuinely think that this season around 48/49 points will see a side safe from the trap door. Get a result on Saturday and we would only need another 3 wins to crack that out of 12 games. You can do it boys........

Just realised that this was the feck up goalie of the season when we played up there. Howler for a 2 - 1 win to us. Oh for a couple more this game.

Just a quick cliche. What goes around, comes around. I'm going to wish I didn't say that aren't I?

Bit of a blip due to Edwards' defensive blunder and of course the red card helped but from the raduo commentary, we've thrashed them from start to finish.

So very good to watch Argyle play even against a pretty poor Rochdale.
The 5 goals really helped their goal diff.
    No worries about going down.
This was a two coffee game for me..

It's never too early for a beer. I've even had a couple myself. Oh hang on it's now 5 past 9 pm.

Anyway where do you start with this one. Rochdale were poor it's true. However they did still manage to cause us a few problems and their forward, No.16 I think, was a pacey player who showed our defence up for being a bit pedestrian. He did run his little heart out. The sending off. Yes it was a red but I didn't think Sargenson was going to give it at first. Yes it was Sargenson. The handball was deliberate and it was the last player and it did deprive a goal scoring opportunity. Correct call. Their goal was a complete feck up by Edwards. Back pass with no pace on it and their man was on it and it was in the net before you could blink. His redeeming goal was following a possible handball by Carey. Could have gone either way. Sargenson booked Sarsevic for diving. Was it a dive or was it a penalty? Consensus was he gave the right decision although I have to say I'm personally not sure. He gave nothing for a clear trip on Lameiras. He let a few others go as well. Thought he did very well in the first half but lost the game in the second.

5 goals. Where did that come from. Well in fairness we should have been at least 3 up in the first half and not one. Wasteful finishing was the reason and we did do a lot of shooting at their keeper. However, their keeper played really well and would have been MOM at that stage. Eventually Ladapo managed his second, he always scores 2, and at 3 - 1 it did look all over for Rochdale. They moaned for England at everything they could. Good goal for .Threkald. Well taken and well placed, The fifth was, well the fifth and again well taken.

All in all it was a very good day at the Office. They were poor and we were eventually clinical. The score could have been double and the stats on the beeb are quite stark where it shows how dominant we were. Won't be an easier win all season. Sargenson was .......................... well Sargenson. The lino on the Lyndhurst side was........crap as usual.

The radio people watched the Sarcevic booking on the video feed we don't get to see.

Their conclusion was that it wasn't a penalty but not a dive either: in other words a genuine collision.

    Obviously I don't know!
