RIP mister. Condolences and best wishes to you, Nig, family and friends Knocks the world on its axis.
@Nig mate, I'm so sorry to hear about your dad passing away. Sending my thoughts, prayers and love to you and your family.
Thank you all for your thoughts. I really appreciate it. Crying like a bairn reading them. I showed the mrs and she was touched and amazed, especially as she never realised I posted on forums lol. My dad was a mag, Well I say that, he liked Sunderland and Newcastle until I pledged an allegiance to Sunderland only and he leaned more to the mags haha. Family rivalry lol. He grew up in horsely hill South Shields and served his time as a fitter at Whitburn colliery. He earned the nickname "Oz" down here for reasons more than his accent lol, he was straight talking RIP Derek, my dad.
Wasn't it great when men were men and not metrosexual whingey twáts ? He certainly wasn't . You certainly knew where you stood with him lol His face when I started drinking wine
£1.30 a bottle home brew and stronger than beer Southern ? Fook off you cùnt, that's the worst I've ever been called. Anything else is acceptable.
My dad, RIP, encouraged me to produce red wine homebrew so it wasn't such a sad moment, but he passed when I was 23 so never really had a man's night out with him as he'd been ill for years. Glad to see you had some nights out with your father. Bless his soul.
