Now that village green status has been decided for half the site (subject to an appeal which will be submitted 2 months 3 weeks and 6 days from the decision date), who pay's??

    For the enabling work?
The continued upkeep and maintenance of the green?
Who will provide insurance for users of the green?

The protesters have been a bit shy when it comes to costs. Why should the majority of Bristolians who didn't want a village green on a bit scrub land near the magnificant Ashton Court Gardens have to pay?

I think all the costs should be met by people who wanted it and them alone.

    COYR.

As these people obviously want a village green really badly, they should be forced to live there permanently, in tents....

Another thought in this seemingly never ending saga..........surely these a-holes who are objecting would need to prove that they have the financial wherewithall to actually contest these decisions in court. Legal advice doesn't come cheap and they won't get legal aid for their case either.
