    It's honest so no problem, it must be in the players minds. Some push it to the back and go game to game some like Mo will think on it more. I also want Madrid in the final.

    Klopp has balls of steel - everyone was calling for Henderson to come on at HT but he stuck to his guns and kept the same midfield. After a truly horrendous first half, the midfield woke up and got its act together and started playing football.

    All of which became easier once Diaz came on, who once again shows the importance of signings and the impact they can have on the team.

    Think it was more villareal realised they might get to a final and got stage fright and stopped actually pressing us and running around. Just let us pass the ball.

    Or it could be that Villareal’s natural game is not to do what they did in the first half and actually just ran out of steam. It’s taken this team a few years to be able to press constantly during a match. Villareals mentality is normally to be defensive, so to do the opposite for a whole match is difficult to maintain.

    I was looking at this and thinking that if we cock this up this bad whoever is in the final with this lot have a ****ing walkover.

    We were just awful for 45mins.
