Does anyone remember that scene in Mike Bassett, England Manager, when the England team are practising in a park in Rio before the WC, and they lose the ball to some Brazilian children and can't get it back?
He's below the average height of a goalkeeper, and much below the average height of a Premier League goalkeeper This season there are 212 Premier League players who are taller than him His arms are also disproportionately short which doesn't help
So basically (according to what you say), if Everton had a normal sized/proportioned keeper they would have won and drawn the last couple of games against you?
He is disproportionately , physically limited in his aspirations to be a Prem goalie. A bit like you being intellectually limited in your aspirations to be some sort of wit.
there’s bragging rights.....then there’s this. kinda feel sorry for the blue side of Merseyside this morning. No, wait.....no I don’t
Carlo Ancelotti revealed he broke his usual habit and confronted his Everton players immediately after their performance at Anfield which he described as "not good enough". The Toffees' winless run at Anfield extending back to 1999 was extended after Liverpool 18-year-old Curtis Jones scored a brilliant winner in the 1-0 FA Cup third-round victory. https://www.skysports.com/football/...ayers-after-fa-cup-exit-to-youthful-liverpool
Would love to see the comparative purchase of the two starting 11’s yesterday. Everton’s net spend over the last 5 years has been 3x what we’ve spent....they are the 3rd biggest spenders behind City and Utd and have recorded record losses. So for their expensively assembled team to be outplayed in the second half, literally passed off the pitch, by a bunch of kids and Lallana is amazing for Liverpool, soul destroying for Everton....and funny as f#ck for me
