Curtis Jones salary is low relative to his performances and skill. Unless we give him a better contract sooner or later he or his agent will start agitating. The other stand out is the difference between Salah’s wages and Mane’s. I can’t see Mane thinking that Salah was worth nearly double his and could justify some of the rumours of tension between the two.

Mane isn't the type to be bothered imo, his agent might though

Mmm. Would anyone not be bothered by 110k difference a week or £5.72 million a year or a massive £23million over the length of the current contract. Most people would. Remember a footballer’s career is relatively short.

Be interesting to see what the performance bonuses are though and how many of the players are weighted that way.

Gotta believe the FB's would be.

You are obviously an amazing person for whom £23million is nothing. But 99.99% of people would think it is a significant sum, not to be ignored. :D

It’s not solely about the money for these top larkers, it’s about how their wages in comparison to others in the same side compares, as it denotes their worth.

Their agents obvs benchmark their own players with others of similar standing in other sides / leagues, and it there’s a sizeable differential they’re going to pushing for a similar rate. It’s literally their job tbf.

Not money motivated, nor am I greedy.

Mane spends most of his earnings on others and lives modestly so I believe he's of a similar mindset to me.

    Those are not really correct.

Salah is not on 250k first off; but anway what's the beef.

Mane has made some philanthropic donations back to his homeland, but I’m not sure you can describe living in a £2m house and owning £500k’s worth of motors as living modestly.

A 15 year career earning an average of say between 5 and 10 mil per year. How do they manage?

Yeah, I have no sympathy for them at all when it comes to money. A short career of 15 years averaging even 2million a year is plenty for anyone with half a brain to live off - never mind TV appearances or interviews in the years to follow. Even Jenas managed to find a way to earn some money after he stopped playing and he was a ****e player and an even worse pundit!

Tbh nobody should have symparhy based on money but neither should they ignore pretty poor behaviour of others towards them.

If say mane wants to strop over salah earning more. Yeah he can go do one.

Some **** making up **** about him etc etc or trolling or what have toy. Nah out of order

If you are a musician (or should i say have a record deal as some i'd struggle to call musicians now) you might earn loads but be driven bonkers by the issues round it. The spears documentary
Is funny duento the fuax apologies flying round from press turds and timberlake.

Footballers at the top have it good in most ways but it doesnt mean people get a free shot at them either. It seems however the media and agents can say anyrhing they want

If those figures are correct the obvious stand outs are Ben Davies & Curtis Jones at either end of the scale .

Robbo on 75K seems an injustice. I mean, that's a ridiculous statement I know since it's crazy, disgusting money, but if we're thinking within the crazy land of these salaries he should be on more given his importance to the team and what others are on
