Watching the Nik on now old days surgeons coked up butchers, experimenting on people in hospitals how times have changed ?

 

A great 3 points against a better side really. Don't know how Bale missed that chance but made up for it with a superb cross for the goal. Surely no one's overhauling Belgium though.

My main take away from that game was the absolutely disgusting feigning injury and cheating from both sides. That's the reason I've stopped watching footy in general and just watch the Swans and Wales now. It's so embarrassing and totally unnecessary. Personally I'd be ashamed to do anything like that.

 

" Embarrassing ", indeed. I'd be livid with my 6 year old son if he took to the floor the way Connor Roberts did. Actually, he'd have too much self respect and pride to do it.

It's a disgrace when so much time and effort is put in to anti racist condemnation, yet nothing is done to clean up what is now a lousy sport.

Unfortunately the influx of foreign players to this country who dive, spit and feign murder it has rubbed off on the British players that are left playing at the top level....

 

I agree that it has got worse - much worse - but there have been ‘British’ ‘divers’ for years.

However, feigning injury is a foreign ‘import’ - think back to the scraps in the 1960s and 1970s on the pitch - there were times when you’d think you’d only get sent off for murder
