We are still in the draw and I'm looking forward to it, but....

As we know a draw means an extra game.

So the unbeaten run continues, good stuff. Another game in our crowded fixture list though.

    Is everyone happy?

We have probably the biggest squad in our division so the more games the better for me especially if more kids get some competitive playing time

I’m happy. If it takes two games to progress then so be it. After all the hard work the owners, players and fans have put in it would be great to have a full house at the SOL or 75,000 at Man U. As Smug mentioned on a different thread the cash is important for January.

Good result providing Honeyman and McGuire are not going too miss any matches.
if Catts is close to a return then things midfield wise we should be OK.
I don't mind the extra fixture, we just need to manage the Majas and Goochs etc with care as they currently aren't getting much rest.
I know young lads love to play but mentally we have to take care as I'm sure Jack Ross is fully aware.

I'd really like to see us play a premier league side, I think we'd give them a good game. We've got the fight for it and some of the moves we put together are of a standard way above league one.

I don't think we are ready for that, yet. When we played Sheff Wed, for all we played well, the quality, and lack of, definitely shone through.

I think a premier league team would brush us aside with relative ease. I'd love to be wrong, though!

Better than a defeat, but not that chuffed TBH. Bit like Tyson Fury. Most picked Wilder in the first place and he's still undefeated. But he stays on his feet for that last round and he's champion...

Mind, you've got to be impressed at him for getting up from that. Did you see Wilder's face when he realised he was back on his feet?!

Nah I'm sure you're right I'd just be interested to see how much of a gulf there is and how well we could do with guts alone because we have got that in abundance.

Fury won that fight pretty comfortably, imo. Wilder can't box and it was always Fury's to lose. He's the best technical heavyweight this country has produced, I reckon he sparks the overrated AJ. Wilder would be a mug to take the rematch.

That I agree with, it's a nice to see a team that doesn't roll over for everybody.

Yeah, I thought Fury won it pretty comfortably too. Apart from the two knockdowns, I thought Fury outboxed him all the way through. It was just Wilder's pure power got through on two occasions. I wouldn't like to call Fury against AJ to be honest. Would be an interesting fight though.

Not half. Say what you like about Wilder, but he can certainly punch!

We could have done without the replay, but if we can progress it might eventually bring a few extra coppers into the kitty..

I thought that too - couldn't work out th 115-111 score. Thought it was strange to have it all square let alone the 115-111!

I like AJ - think he's had some good fights but he's only really had one "test" - but I agree Fury is a better boxer and would likely beat him if he's fully fit. (only say likely as, with people that size, only takes one punch to finish a fight!!)

I think AJ will batter the both of them, but I'm sure we will find out in the next year or so..
