But you know his record and there are plenty of other people that you don’t know personally that you have an opinion about, like politicians.

There will be plenty on here who think he is worth a punt, just I won’t be one of them.

 

Fair enough comment mate. Just sick of the same old names mentioned for every job when they prove themselves no better than the team that last sacked them. We need something different, we have been doing the same sort of managers who bring nothing to our club.

Yeah, it’s why I made that Potter reference. However, with the way our club is set up we will see the same sort of managers picked and then dumped because that is what the people doing the picking are comfortable with.

There might be a bit of a dead cat bounce with a nutter like Barton or Pearson, but I can’t see it lasting given the way the club is run.

 

Barton has a pending court case in June 21 - however this is dependent on coronaviur restrictions. He also had a recent falling out with Ched Evans so one wonders what happended there..

Get Clint in to work with the defenders. Let him teach about defending corners cause if tim bice but dim comes in we all know how good he is a predicting corner outcomes...

Barton as a player, a good one who carried the team through some games, should have been ok, if he'd been controlled better than he probably was. But as a Manager responsible for getting the team to perform to its maximum as a unit, no thanks. I doubt being diplomatic is on his CV.

I think the name of this thread needs editing.

 

I think this thread was fair enough.
We were in a downward spiral towards the relegation zone and Warburton seemed unable to vary his tactics etc.
To be fair to him he's changed to three at the back and the club had a very good January transfer window.
We seem to have turned the corner, but we are STILL only 5 points above the relegation zone.
Need to keep it going.

I know that we are not out of the woods just yet, and that form is temporary and class is permanent, but MW purchased / loaned managed to get the right players in. Maybe if we continue to climb the table, there could be a place for tem at the end of the season. I also wonder whether the behind the scenes issues with BOS affected the team more than us fans realised.
However, MW continue what you are doing...you are slowly starting to head in the right direction.
