Out so far- Hunners (12) of useless ****s. Possible ins- Some pape who failed a medical with Birmingham. Hugh Dallas' s illegitimate offspring from a fling with a bint from Limavady whilst attending the 12th of July celebrations. Hibby Scot Allan, heir to the Allan's of Uddingston bus empire. Danny Wilson, baldy 90's songster who had a massive hit with Mary's prayer (unlikey cos he's obviously a pape) Lee McCulloch, seemingly he's on a free. Mibbes- Every **** in the top two divisions In England who is looking for a loan deal cos they are fed up sitting in the stand come match day. Haris Tweed, Newcastle don't want him and nor does any **** else. He has Rangers wrote all over him.
If Jig's going for free I will take him. He can become my butler. A sort of Lanarkshire version of Alfred from Batman. If he takes care of my gaff it will allow me to continue to fight crime in Glasgow's East end and sort out the victims vitamin deficiencies.
Just got a text from my mate, he's going away on holiday today and he seen Jardel arriving in Glasgow airport. Here's hoping lads, 20th time lucky
Fair enough getting some old experienced guy into the team. We haven't heard of him, but he might be okay. There was Lubo at Celtic (I'm not suggesting this guys anywhere near that level) Davie Weir and even Alex Rae . What irks me is that they are saying he will be captain. Sure it's only paper talk, but our next captain must surely be Lee Wallace. Warburton has built his reputation on developing youth players he probably sees this guy playing some kind of mentor role for them. Although we have Kenny for that. If he wants to make a coffin dodger captain Kenny Miller's yer man.
DIdn't know that Aldo. Maybe it's to build on Daniel Prodan's legacy. Would seem a bit of a ridiculous piece of business at that age then.
Didn't we get Ehigou when he was half ****ed with an injury? Turned out alright to be honest. I don't mind getting older, experienced guys in that know what they are doing. It's when we start paying them stupid money I get pissed off. If we are signing this guy it should be for 2 seasons tops.
Eustace is actually quite a good player, people will be put off by his age now but he's always done well at the teams he's been at. Given his age and recent injury problems I'd assume we'd only offer him probably a 1 year contract anyway, if he does well then give him another year and if not then see ye later.
He has to be a bit of gamble given he has been out the game for six months recovering from what must have been a pretty serious knee operation. At the age he is and the brutality of the championship I'd say there's a pretty good chance he will break down pretty damn quick. He is another that Warbuton has worked with before (at Watford) and the new manager seems to have the same signing policy as the old one. Picking players from the contacts area of his mobile phone. Bringing in experience is essential but surely there are better candidates out there.
