Been busy all day. Are they still crying and assuring each other that next year will be their year?

    Few quotes off RTG

"Amazon who have made about 400 club/team documentaries before they looked at Newcastle. Score. And they’ve only looked at Newcastle cos a dodgy owner took over."

Their own fans had to make a documentary about themselves...:emoticon-0176-smoke

"Them getting into the champions league will be the overstretch that getting into the prem may have been for Sunderland. If they try to buy their way late into the tourney, their league form will suffer and they will be top heavy with expensive bench warmers.

10th next season if so, fourth if not."

"Too call them obsessed when we have another thread that's dedicatd to posts/chat about them on this forum is a tad ironic :emoticon-0136-giggl don't you think, we were the exact same when they lost at Wembley this season and will be the exact same if they fall out of the Champions League places.":emoticon-0150-hands

"The NUFC fans who are upset are no doubt the same ones who actually work with and have SAFC fans close to them on a regular basis...just a hunch like." <laugh>

"Their owner slaughters babies and children.<laugh> <laugh> <laugh> They adore him. Nothing more to be said"<doh> :emoticon-0110-tongu :emoticon-0135-makeu :emoticon-0109-kiss:

Some comments on their board this morning about ManC
Posters saying supporters should not be blamed for their owners or clubs actions
Apathy shields still high or slipping a bit??

Iiiiiiinteresting, 2 of our players in young player of the season nominee list, although Haaland will obviously win this, and even if he didn't, Odegaard and Mac Allister would be ahead of our 2

The Black-rats. playing the Heed apparently...:emoticon-0103-cool:

Sunderland AFC’s opening fixtures of pre-season 2023 have now been confirmed.

The Lads will face a North-East double-header on Saturday 8 July, traveling to non-league sides South Shields and Gateshead.

Preparing for life in the National League North following a promotion-winning campaign, Shields will host Tony Mowbray’s side at 12:30 in the Black Cats’ first outing of the day.

The Lads will then make the short trip to the Gateshead International Stadium, facing Mike Williamson’s National League outfit at 16:00.

Ticket information for both fixtures will be confirmed in due course.

    2023 pre-season schedule:

    South Shields (A) Saturday 8 July, 12:30
    Gateshead (A) Saturday 8 July, 16:00
San Antonio FC (A) Saturday 15 July, 20:00 (ET)
New Mexico United (A) Wednesday 19 July, 19:00 (MT)
North Carolina FC (A) Friday 21 July, 19:00 (CT)

I know I’ve been at the match tonight and we are all currently in dreamland but when I read the first bit I initially thought the last 18 months had literally all just been a dream and the Mackems had sunk into non league football.

Serious question, will the scummy six-fingered sister-shagging mackems get into the premier league this decade?
