Wins a win. All good for the confidence. I reckon Clark’s antics and Lascelles injury will probably escalate our transfer business too with any luck. Looks like a successful trip all round at present. Players look incredibly happy in training. Bit sun on their back, new blood due in, let’s hope it translates to a little run of form on our return.
That’s immediately what I thought when they jumped out. I thought they where going to rob me. I had my AirPods in. So initially didn’t see them. When I threw the punch it was more instinct than anything. When the lad jumped in the car I thought he was going to get a knife so my first thoughts where run. Buy then he drove away. I guess I got lucky: and I’m not kidding either they where toerags.
As you say I think something is wrong in Clarks personal life: he was dependable but seems to have just lost his **** this season.
FFS. He played quite well too. What would be really annoying is if we do get someone and he drops Schar. While Lascelles did well I admit (begrudgingly), Schar was far better and is way more talented. Then you have Fernandez too. So if he keeps picking Lascelles it’s a massive concern for our safety. One game fools no one.
He actually sounds like a nice bloke but on the pitch he never smiles. Maybe a player with a point to prove. Nice to see him smiling. A happy team is a productive one. Clean slates all around I say. Just as long as they put the effort in that’s what we want right.
