If you saw it happen youll wonder how it happened he just went down like a sack of potatoes, no one near him, just jogging. A bad bit of pitch perhaps. It's obviously used for rugby so it was not great. A real shame. He was so pissed off.
I did mine playing tennis on a hard court that was quite even. I charged off in search of a wide ball, and as I ran it just went. Eight weeks in plaster after they has stiched it back together, then six weeks of physio before I could drive. To get back to match fitness would be another six weeks minimum I think, so five months in all likelihood.
I did mine, it was like a brick hitting me. Down as if I'd been shot. 12 weeks plaster, change of angle every 4 weeks. Lost a lot of muscle and I was late 30's and it was never the same again. I knew immediately what it meant for me and I was very angry tbh. End of my competitive sport (except for golf & skiing, obviously not at the same time!).
Looks like Gosling was feeling something and wanted to come off earlier going by his reaction to the medical team .
