Match Day Thread Watford v Liverpool

For what? He did no worse than others and pulled off a couple of great saves.

I think the whole team tried but we just weren't good enough in any department.

 

Basically for being on YouTube and having Salah in his Fantasy football team.

 

Well so do I but I don't have a utube channel and don't cycle. Anyway, I don't hold that against him, besides I think the more accessible they are to fans the better and I think he can inspire kids in the way to grow up, aspire to achieve the best you can and be a decent human being. (Think I'm going over the top for a Sunday morning!)

There were many things wrong with this match. The players let themselves down, they are professional footballers after all and seemed not interested and not fit enough. both of those points can't be placed at Claudio's door, but playing players out of position against Liverpool in your first match in charge is questionable. A total shambles from the first minute. About time someone took responsibility for the player recruitment, which I think is going to cost us dear yet again, simply not good enough!!!!

 

He just has other interests outside of football which some don't like.

At 38 he probably didn't expect to be starting Premier league games tbh.

Unfortunate someone he got a ticket for got kicked out of the ground though - that probably doesn't look good.

 

Has that been confirmed? I saw the clip of the wrestler/fighter or whatever he is being asked to leave but didn't see confirmation that Foster gave him the ticket.

Of course all players will have complementary tickets they hand out to others but it seems these ended up in the hands of someone who couldn't control their delight and so got kicked out.

Now might be someone Foster knows gave them to this chap expecting him to behave himself.

Looked like Watford yesterday versus Watford yesterday

After time to reflect would any of our Premier Leagues sides have done any better against Liverpool on their form yesterday

Will be interesting to see how many they put past Man United next week

Back to today I will be very very reluctanly hoping Spurs smash Newcastle, most other occasions would be the opposite

 

Not exactly smashing them, but at least they're ahead after going behind early...

 

1-3 now although over shadowed by a delay because a fan got ill and needed medical treatment.

Thankfully sounds like they are ok.
