I do wish Stelling would get his facts right - Joka wasn't sacked, he refused a contract offer and left.
Watford head coach Xisco Munoz told BBC Three Counties Radio: "We are in the Premier League. We hope everyone enjoys it and stays safe. It's important the fans enjoy, it's a moment to enjoy. "Everyone helped me, I have a big group behind me and it was an excellent run in the to the season. "I have been lucky with the players, we have a great connection, when everyone works with the same ideas and passion. "It's nice when you have a good group all moving in the same direction."
And I am not sure if Munoz has a contract for next season himself? They are probably all gutted we have gone back up.
Back up at the first attempt. That’s not easy to do and we’ve done it. Absolutely brilliant. Well done boys, just been unstoppable since Christmas. Home record and clean sheets amazing. For me, Sarr gets player of the season but Sierralta since coming in has been a rock. Both absolute Premier League quality. Many others been excellent too. Enjoy the moment, just buzzing and another great achievement by our club! COYH!
I was washing the cars today Had I just been listening to the radio I would have been far too stressed
I read an article recently that claimed to list the value + how much it had risen of some our players. It claimed that Sierralta's value had risen by £135K to £450K. Total b*ll*cks was my reaction.
Ismaila Sarr - a mere £18m. Has fallen from the £27m valuation from June ‘19 by the same website. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ismaila-sarr/profil/spieler/410225 However, on the plus side, if I can’t fix the washing machine, I should be able to buy a new one for less than a guinea.
Jokanovic wasn’t “sacked”, Jeffrey. When we finished 11th, when we reached the FA Cup Final, when we beat the ‘unbeatable’ European and World Champions by three goals to nil, does that really tie in with what you’re saying, that we “it’s easy to remember they struggled in recent seasons”???? Sort your roots out, love, they’re showing. And leave us to celebrate. T!t.
And given his record at Fulham after spending 100 million they were proven right not to give in to his demands which probably included give me load of money to spend... In fact could say all the management changes have work apart from Flores 2nd time around? (Ok that was a big mistake..) I think we have to presume Pearson was sacked for off the pitch related issues we'll never know about. I cannot believe we just sacked him with 2 games to go just based on a bad night at West Ham. The fact Nigel was quite happy to pass on his congratulations to us yesterday says it all - clearly doesn't feel bitter.
