Jamal Lewis was a great long distance runner his stamina and speed is incredible, he doesn't have any meat on him yet though , so any zonal marking situation he's up against a lump he gets swatted away like a mosquito. So many soft goals from set pieces no lessons learnt
Interestingly when Aarons was interviewed recently and asked about the quickest players at the club he said him, Godfrey & Hanley !
When asked whose the quickest over 100m's Arrons says it's between him, Godfrey & Hanley. 5.00 onwards
You obviously waffled on far too much! The new mandate is for MDT's to consist of two (2) words only, not three as previously. Yours had almost two paragraphs!
Hanley does look quick over short runs, but Max says it's also true over 100m. I'm surprised at that, but it's easy to think the opposite because of his size.
I didn't say he was the fastest in the squad, I was highlighting that he had a promising career in long distance running so has incredible stamina. The point I was making is he is too lightweight to be marking big strong players both Aarons and Godfrey are physically more stocky in build . This was a problem since the first game where Van Dijk went through Lewis like he wasn't there to score a header not to dissimilar to Watford yesterday.
Yep, basically our whole team is too lightweight when up against some of the meatier teams in the PL and Lewis has been bullied on more than one occasion this season. Tettey was hardly completely innocent at that corner yesterday either, and has also struggled to defend set pieces. Basically we always end up with a mismatch somewhere, zonal marking or otherwise.
