    Watford v Southampton.

14th in the table face 16th. Watford have 3 wins and a draw to be on 10 points. Southampton have 1 win and 5 draws to be on 8.

We all know what happened last Saturday, Watford exploded as Everton imploded and 4 goals in the last 12 minutes made the fans go wild. I bet even new boss CR70 couldn't believe it after the previous mauling the week beforehand.

He has warned players not to get carried away, and rightly so. Our defensive frailities are there for all to see. TK has been calling for a clean sheet, something we haven't seen all season. Howevever, we seem dangerous on the attack. Not every team will gift goals like the Toffees mind.

Our recent form at home against Southampton hasn't been any good over the years. What better time to get back to back wins and push us up the table before we play some of the bigger hitters.

    ¡¡ COYH <magic> COYH <wizard> COYH :1980_boogie_down: !!

    Team news to follow:

But, Dennis is suspended for this one.

    ENJOY THE GAME <cheers>

Another week with Claudio and the real prospect of further improvement. Shame Dennis is in detention, he is proving talismanic. Watford have some significant recent wrongs to right against Southampton. Tricky Customer, as Frank Bruno might put it. I think we're more than capable of outscoring them... that's the key, isn't it always?

At the least the last two games suggest goals and if the Everton game is representative of a new playing style we can expect an open attacking game..

Kiko Femenía remains a doubt for the Southampton match, due to a knock to the hip sustained against Liverpool. Francisco Sierralta is making good progress from his hamstring injury and has been training outside – but this weekend will come too soon for his return.

Danny Rose has recovered from a minor calf injury that saw him miss our trip to Everton and is available for Saturday's match.

Well hope we won't give any free kicks or penalties with James Ward Prowse around.

And Shane Long or Nathan Redmond decide to have their usual good game against us if playing.

It's another Wolves, Newcastle, Leeds game where we can get a result and people might expect to but will need to perform well.

A front four of Sarr, Pedro, Hernandez and King? I think attack will be the order of the day.

In addition to his first Premier League start, Joao Pedro is also making his 50th Hornets appearance in all competitions today. <applause>
