    Another unscientific poll <laugh>.
It won't favour the great Cliff Holton, the man who scored more goals for Watford in one season than any other.
This poll might say more of our demography than tell us who is 'Watford's Greatest Ever Goalscorer' as the title suggests .
It's just a bit of fun. Sorry if I missed out your favourite <ok>.

You can vote more than once on this. Vote for the greatest goalscorer(s) you have seen.

No worries - you got the right man there - but I would have liked to see Billy Jennings and Mo Johnson in the list just to make up the numbers

They were two. John Barnes scoring record is amazing, but I wanted to keep it to strikers. Maurice Cook, Barry Endean, Gerry Armstrong, George Harris, Johnny Hartburn, Billy Jennings, Keith Mercer, Cyril Thompson, Dai Ward, Paul Wilkinson, there's loads. I tried to make it span the years, reflect goals/games but also include names like Mooney, who if you went on goals per game, wouldn't have made the list, but how could you do this poll without him?

The answer is obviously a toss-up between Luther and Cliff Holton. But I never saw Holton, and never saw Luther in his prime.

The best player I've seen from this list is Smith. But goalscoring wise, it's between Phillips, King and Graham. Those were the three I went for, but Marlon has zero votes, so something has gone wrong.

    Mo Johnson for the poacher
George Reilly for his one goal in the FA Cup semi final
David Connolly for his explosive start at Watford

I want to vote for Heiðar but his is not as good as Luther.

Danny is only there as he is current. I can't remember Kevin Phillips, never saw Dennis Uphill or Cliff Holton and only vaguely remember Tommy Mooney. Marlon was good but any thought of him is tarnished by his off-field behaviour.

Ak, David Connolly I don't think so - too good for Watford indeed and where is he now, Division 1 I believe.

No one has voted for Dennis Uphill yet, ofh. Actually, in terms of 'goals per game' he has one of the best records there.

Odd - title says you can vote more than once and there are more votes than it says voters - but I was going to add a second vote but it does not seem to allow it - am I missing a box somewhere to vote?

During my limited Watford FC supporting, I have only really seen Tommy Mooney, (can't ever remember Kevin Phillips) Tommy Smith, Heiðar Helguson, Marlon king and Danny Graham.

I would have to go for Danny Graham.

Why no Nordin Wooter in the list?

Answer is one of the following

    a) he just missed the cut for the list
    b) he is too good so no-one else would have got any votes
    c) something else
