I have to say that I am certainly no picture of health but the farrier who just replaced a plate makes me look like an olympian!!! Gone with Noseda outsider at 40/1 against the heavily backed fav.
Three from three on the Forum so far that's not too shabby even if I didn't do any Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
Well Watan was not good enough but the Godolphin horses were poor at the prices they opened up. I expect Skardu will be a silly price for the Guineas now but he's not for me given the form of the second and third there and also Haggas's awful record in the Classics. I suspect it was a very poor Craven but fair play to Skardu, he cashed in. If Andre Fabre/Godolphin don't want to take Persian King over for the Guineas, I suspect they are resigned to not wanting to have a go with the best colt they have in their armoury.
cheltenham,4 25: well, another fiercely competitive handicap today, with chances aplenty, but a narrow vote goes to THOMAS CAMPBELL:true, hes a hard horse to win with, and not the most consistent, but he boasts some very useful form this season, not least a respectable 4th in the relkeel hurdle.he shaped there,as if this trip would suit, and another positive is,that he might be a fresh horse, having not gone to both festivals.take into account the 7 lbr off his back, with the very good conditional up,and he is in with a massive shout today..
Horrible fall at the 2nd last there, one horse seemed to be out cold - laying there completely motionless. Fingers crossed all horses and jockeys OK.
What an arse. Is it normal form to have a fancy or real feeling a horse is going to win, but not post it on the thread, cos you dont want to look a no hoper/clueless/not at the races kind of poster? Maybe newbie itus. I picked out Uno Mas in the 5.30 Chelts last night, purely on yard form and form figures. Christian Williams had a nice double a few days back. Looked a progressive horse. Anyhow. Didn't put it up. Came in at 14s. But, I have backed it in a 'silly, finished work for Easter, on the beers' bet in a e/w treble with. 6.30 southwell- Laqab 8.30 southwell- Mildean Panther Got my knackers crossed. Enjoy your evening and Easter folks.
You could just imagine John McCririck in his heyday, screaming at the camera "This can NOT win" before being proved wrong. It was a severe drift but sometimes there just isn't much in the newcomers. I thought Aristocratic Lady ran a promising race. Perhaps a little too positive a ride and she could not maintain her run but she looks to have plenty to build on and the stable are yet to find their feet. She might be the one to take from the race.
.....we are now at half time and I hope City just pop in another couple to no return. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
Persian King was cut to a general 5/1 for the Guineas in the wake of the poor runs from Royal Marine and Zakouski. The betting for the 2000 Guineas is a shambles at the moment. I don't think Too Darn Hot will run and there are a shed load of colts far too short in the betting. Hard to believe that some firms CUT Royal Marine in to 8/1 after that show today. Magna Grecia looks far too short, Persian King beat him cosily despite still being a bit green last season. Ten Sovereigns is far from certain to stay and the stable's contenders have looked quite poor so far this season. Aidan says he's excited about Ten Sovereigns but that could be because he has little else with a chance. Looks a mediocre renewal with the one potential class act likely to be another missed penalty for Gosden.
Nar mate, domestic treble is still to be had unless last night has knocked u Good luck in the semis Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
