I neglected to mention the WORLD'S first Friday night championship match where Laois beat Carlow 3-13 to 0-12. Westmeath just took a shellacking in the small ball qualifiers losing to Waaaaaaaaaaaherferd 0-14 to 3-22. The scores were level at half time. Monaghan and Cavan are underway on RTE and BBC. On RTE.com the KK vs Dublin replay is on.....I would prefer to watch that but it won't work on my computer due to the enforced partition of my country by Dark Imperialist forces from a foreign land.
You will find its Rte policy and your broadband provider not having an "Island of Ireland" IP address. The force is not with you
Ulster Semi Monaghan 1-10 Cavan 0-12 Qualifiers Galway 1-12 - 0-11 Tipperary Longford 2-14 - 0-08 Limerick Dubs dump Kilkenny out of the Leinster hurling championship 1-16 to 0-16. Chatting to a couple of lads in the Derry team today due to play against Down in the Ulster hurling championship tomorrow..... Down are gonna win. The island of Ireland policy is down to the enforced partition of my country..... Not being able to watch matches on rte.ie is the most compelling reason to end this failed experiment.
Great win for Dublin hurlers last night and well deserved. Only 4 points from play for Kilkenny in the whole game, Galway will be tough in the final but I think they can do it.
LONDON Lead Leitrim 2-10 to 0-2....unreal M'mon the exiles! Armagh are bashing up Wicklow in a bad way.
Dubs running riot against a wide open Kildare team. Lovely football to watch but Kildare are wild naive
Surprised to see this from Geezers team. Full time - London 2-11 Leitrim 1-13. Incredible comeback from Leitrim but the Exiles hold on for the biggest result for a hundred years. Fantastic.
Some facile wins this weekend. Draw for next round of qualifiers tomorrow. Don't fear anybody in the draw. Perhaps best draw for Down would be Armagh. Enough of an edge to get the players up for it following the battle against DOnegal without the physicality
It'll not be London anyway. The dream lives on. Any word on the hurling replay? The final is supposed to be in Derry next week.
