What's everyone doing?A bit under the weather so no golf tomorrow, going into town in the morning to look into the windows of closed pubs and on the lookout for some winter woolies. BTW John Lennon would be 80 today, imagine that! @EasterRoad1980
I'm going to be busy writing the second instalment of my autobiography. So it's going to be fun, fun, fun for this 37 year old!! Oh, and thank **** for Mark Chapman.
Tonight: Video games and drinking Tomorrow: Brighton and drinking Sunday: Pizza and drinking (with maybe some video games too)
I’ll be dipping all my shopping in bleach watching Paul weller vids on YouTube staying safe and vigilant
Are you allowed in the exhibition, or do you have to look through the windows? I’m going to the Warhol exhibition at the Tate Modern next Monday; if they don’t ****ing shut it down again. Was meant to go in March
Let’s hope so I’m exhibiting myself in two weeks at a similar place. Did half the Tate Modern, need to do the other half. Some wonderful art in there. And some absolute ****.
Did you visit the Mark Rothko room upstairs? Those abstract impressionist paintings were commissioned by the Four Seasons Hotel in Manhattan, but when Rothko finished painting them, he thought, “****it, why would I want a bunch of rich bankers to ignore my paintings while they stuff themselves with quail’s eggs?”, and donated them to the Tate instead. You’re an artist then Stopme (not just a piss artist)?
Yes I did see that room and let’s just say he did it first so got away with it. There are loads of artists doing similar stuff now but that’s a waste of time as they will ever make a name for themselves, I took up art in December and though I’m lacking in actual talent I manage to turn out the odd half decent painting. It’s all poor imitations of Kandinsky, Picasso, Miro and some surreal cubist stuff that I think might be vaguely original. Haven’t been metal detecting at all since I took up art.
