    Evening all!

Been a longtime lurked on the takeover thread! Appreciate all the info given by the usual suspects @Smug in Boots @Prehab26 @Magnus etc... despite what people say it's clear they're loyal SAFC fans trying to help out fellow SAFC fans through these dark days and provide what they can!

I'm PulseSafc on RTG. I've been a member of that site since 2007. Don't post massive amounts but when I do I try to keep it constructive and sensible. But I flipped out at two posters the other day for trolling threads which made me realise it's a pointless venture and I'd be better served discussing SAFC and debating like adults without childish cliques and gratuitous provocation. I'll still contribute but this will be a pleasant change.

Anyway, I'm a detective for WYP, I've lived in the Wetherby, Boston Spa area all my life. Born in Harrogate. Only my dad left (lost all my grandparents) who comes from Sunderland. He was a Penshaw lad. It's my only affiliation with the area, an area I absolutely love. Season ticket holder for years and always came with my dad. It was the SMB which really connected me with the people and the area and at the start it was a solid community. Still is but so is this and it's nice to be around like minded fellow Sunderland fans that I can immerse in and feel connected to an area I'm not from but have such strong feelings for.

Hope to stick around and provide some meaningful content!

Just out of interest - would that be Bernard Gilpin, Sancroft or the Grammar? - asking for a friend <laugh>

    Good evening.

Recent lurker on this site. As many have said, it’s by far superior to that of RTG.

I’m an exile and now have live in West Yorkshire so I only get to a hand full of home games but the bonus (I’m sure there’s a few more) of living here is that I can get to a few more away games, which unfortunately have tended to be sat in the home end.

My elderly mam still goes to the matches and I was talking to her today. She’s a season ticket holder and am I right in thinking that she gets the stream for free? She has watched the first few games but now it has started to charge her? Has anybody else had this issue?

    Welcome aboard.
Home games are free - she will still have to pay for away games like the rest of us.

Lots of exiles on here mate, you'll fit in well.

Let me know if you struggle for away tickets at Donny etc, always happy to help decent people.

thanks , hope I can contribute. I think Johnson will wait to see how he gets along with Taylor before he decides on any other staff changes. I liked both of the interviews he gave . I feel a lot more confident than when parky was employed.

Welcome mate and enjoy. I know what you mean regarding the relentless negativity over there. At least if you have a different point of view from others on this forum it can be debated without personal abuse

Mainly because you were being an arse, looking to disrupt the thread as far as I could see.

If you think that I've been hasty, and your sole intention was other than that above let me know and I'll reconsider . . . . and monitor :emoticon-0148-yes:

How do you permanently disable the watch thread function when you’ve posted on a thread?

Near the top of the page there is an 'unwatch thread' function that you can click to stop such alerts :emoticon-0105-wink:
