Wenger's good mates with the guy that owns PSG, thats probably where the rumours come from.

I think he'll stay one more season then go

His contract is up in 2014. Wouldn't make much sense....

I also can't see him leaving with one year left on his contract. He might try and leave on a high in 2014, though. Also curious as to how the board will react to Wenger's possible departure. He is in many ways their perfect manager.

He won't go before his contract is up - also it depends on what happens next season, if the board do give Wenger some money to spend, then there's no point him leaving to be honest.

So if Wenger goes, it's either Ancelotti or Moyes for us then. Pellegrini's probably going to Citeh, Klopp's not leaving Dortmund anytime soon.

I don't see AW ever being part of another club, he'll retire from management when he feels he's had enough at Arsenal then move upstairs.
At some point the desire to be on a training ground at the crack of dawn in the pissing rain/wind/cold reduces...

Can't see Moyes leaving Everton either.

So if Ancelotti is going to RM, and Moyes is staying at Everton, who would we end up with if Arsene goes to PSG? The only 2 options i could think of are Benitez (i'll kill someone's dog if this happens, terrible manager) or Mancini (good team builder, not good in europe)

I'm one of Arsene's biggest detractors, but seriously, if this is the only competition, i'd rather keep him.

I agree, some people might now want Wenger in charge, but there aren't really many alternatives out there.

We have to remember that last manager Arsenal hired was from a japanese club, so who's to say the board (with Wenger's help perhaps) will not find a manager in a club no one is thinking of right now.

This said, I don't think Arsene will leave Arsenal this summer.

Sorry but even if wenger does go it won't be psg. Everything he says pertaining to finance and transfers is an indirect condemnation of that club. Would be very hypocritical. Wenger may well leave in 2014 but if he does he can do so with his head held high and put us in good stead for the future. If I were to choose an ideal replacement it would be klopp but don't think that's likely. Realistically we may well go for an arsenal icon/legend or an unknown name. Big established names in terms of managers a very unlikely tbh.

David Dein brought Wenger to Arsenal, the current board have reaped the benefits whilst dispensing with Dein. I'm not sure how proactive they are, they strike me as a fairly conservative bunch - I wonder if they would take a big a risk as Dein did by bringing in an unknown ?

Joahim Low could be an option. Similar to Klopp in many ways.
