Nothing is certain. And we're much more likely to win the cup than get relegated.

 

As true as this is, we've had a great cup run with some cracking results, but for me, it doesn't excuse our league form over the past 4 months. It doesn't excuse the gutless inept performances we've been sitting through.

I imagine if us fans were allowed in, spending our time and money on this week after week, the view would be very different.

 

It may be 'only' 10 points, but not only do we need Fulham to win 4, but 3 other teams need to win 3 or 4 as well....as well as us picking up zero points.

Not impossible, but it really isn't happening.

Am I happy with the last 15 games? No way. Am I losing sleep over relegation? 100% not.

 

This. I'd be much more concerned about tonight if the players hadn't shown plenty of character last week to overturn a 2 goal deficit. We've just got to chalk this up as "bad day at the office" and "bigger fish to fry".

 

Oh and you can blame me. I just emptied the dishwasher now from this morning.

 

Like 13 out of our last 14 games? (Or whatever it actually is)

 

There have been mitigating circumstances since the new year but no excuses tonight as it is a virtually full squad.

 

But But But we have a semi final on Sunday.

God knows what the excuse would have been if we actually needed the points tonight.

 

He said "If you useless ****ers blow it against West Brom there will be a meltdown of epic proportions on Saints Web, Fat Sam will celebrate by eating two packets of crisps while he is having a dump, and those poor sods on not606 will have to find yet another sucker for the next league match thread"

.....and so it came to pass.

 

175/1 on us going down. 9/1 to win the cup.

 

I don't think so. VAR has had a big impact in several of our games, which has cost us probably at least 4 points. Other games we've played well in and not got anything: Leicester away, Man City away, Villa at home. Injuries and bad luck have played a bigger part in our "collapse" rather than playing badly.

 

We wouldn’t have played like that if we needed the points because we are actually really good just pretending to be ****

Spurs

On tonight's showing, or indeed any of the last 14 games where are we picking up the points?

At the end of the day if we beat Leicester no one will remember tonight.

 

I strongly fancy that we will beat Fulham and they would need to win 5 more than us.

 

A - we may not need anymore points
B - we will get at least 1 win out of that lot
C - You've missed out Crystal Palace who are ****e.

 

We won't get relegated we may win the cup

Missed the pint of red wine whilst he's sat on the dumpster.

 

We can get points in any of those games.

 

Leeds, Fulham and Spuds would be my guess.

Irrelevant though as Fulham won't get 36.
