Wait a second, won't Barnsley survive after Wigan's points are deducted? Wigan will be on 47 points and Barnsley on 49.
Last two games much more like earlier in the season, still think we might have been in the mix tonight if we'd started back as we left off. Now have to sit back and watch our pockets getting picked in close season...
Great game to finish on. Showed all our faults and all our gifts. 3 players scored over 10 goals. That has not happened for a long time. Cracker of a goal from Eze as a parting gift... He has played nearly every minute of every game...he is a strong lad as well as truly gifted. A much better season than I ever thought. 7 weeks and it starts again
What a night! Great to be able to enjoy the ups and downs with out too much emotional investment. Swans v Bees does not look hopeful.for the Bees but as we well know, anything can happen. I happen to be staying in Swansea for a break so will have a chat to one of the local fans tomorrow to see how he enjoyed the night! Keep well and safe all. Edit. Swans v Bees head to head, Swans win 8 to Bees 2.
Highlights for anyone who's not seen the game... https://www.skysports.com/watch/vid...tions/championship/12034231/west-brom-2-2-qpr
Such ludicrous ability for that finish. Nice way to finish his time with us if that’s going to be that. The kid can get to any level.
I thought Lumley played particularly well yesterday. Quick off line early on when they were 1-1 and made another excellent save for a chance WBA should have burried. Great for him going into the break.
This is the time of year when looks back and see that we were only 4 wins and a draw away from a playoff place and think if only. Never mind, we had a better season than last but the problem now is whether Warburton will be allowed to keep our best players and add to them or will they be sold and we do back to square one. At least Brentford have choked when it came to crunch time.
the marking for the second Albion goal was shocking. Thanks to our departing players, especially Eze, you were a delight to watch
It will be tough for the team if we lose ‘the three’. Normally you would be happy to accept a £20m sale and chance to invest in a couple of replacements to improve and move forward again. However, these are tough times and at least it may help the club through it. Hopefully a few pickings will be there for us as young and eager hopefuls see the progress that they could make at our club as Eze, BOS and Manning have done - an attractive proposition we didn’t have before, so let’s make the most of it while we can. MW, SLF, Hoos, Bhatia and our scouting resources better be ready and prepared - it’s looking busy for the next 9 weeks ... no time for holidays lads, lots to do and be done!
